Subject:  *Acceptable Damage?

Drying 30% corn.  Plenum temp is 230, higher than I ever ran.  Now that I'm in 28-31% corn, I am seeing a small amount of damage.  I would guess 1-5%.  I know I can drop the temp and slow the drier to avoid the damage.  However, we would only pick for a few hours a day.  Asking the question of the grain buyer is like saying, "Hey, guess what I'm going to deliver this winter and next spring?"  How much damage is acceptable before they really start docking?
