I guess our soil is different than some...  We are going to need until this weekend just to dry out enough to think about picking.  Now I know what a prehisoric tar pit is.  I have fields draining as if it was full irrigation season.   Yet I heard one analyst say today that corn harvest may be half done by monday?   Even if the ground was dry, the corn is even wetter than the mud.   Just wondering where these combines are rolling, maybe I'll go watch, getting pretty bored.
