I want to get an autosteer mainly for striptilling in the fall and then planting into the strips in the spring. For striptilling in the fall I use a JD 8400 tractor, In the spring I use a IH 5088 tractor.

When it comes to electronic stuff I am pretty inexperienced. SOOOO, What brand, kind, accuracy do I need and about how much money will it cost? I don't want to buy two so is something portable possible between the two tractors? And what about putting it on the combine when not using it in the tractors?

Could I get by with something that has say 3-4 inch accuracy versus rtk? Thanks
